Jason got mad at me for saying "Babe better not be getting sick..." (he is getting over a cold) this morning.

He met Sophie the giraffe tonight! She is really fun to chew on.

 

Tuesday January 3rd..

*~*One good thing about today.*~*

I got to work from home. Loved my shorter commute & tea kettle 5 feet away!

*~*One thing that was not good today:*~*

It was super icy out. All the rain froze & our street is now a skating rink. Also the sidewalks so I couldn't run over lunch. Actually I used it as an excise.

*~*Max! This was actually yesterday. I forgot to take a picture today...

 

Squeezing in all the fun stuff...

Max starts daycare & I go back to work next week (yes, big pouty sad face!!) so we are doing as much as possible this week. And today is already Thursday! Unfortunately that still involves a lot of adulting tasks - laundry, bills, making dinner... But we found time for some fun.
 
We visited a whole bunch of friends (and Grandma) at St.Vincent de Paul. Then we made a quick stop at Kid's Rack and bought some new clothes. This MN Gophers outfit is to impress Daddy.
 
Tonight we had a crockpot dinner of pork chops with mushroom gravy and corn-quinoa noodles. (I did mine pork chop-less). My brother, Andy, stopped by for a while too, and Max loved playing with him. They played chew-on-the-monkey/toucan...great fun!
